Winner of SAVEUR'S "BLOG AWARDS," for The College Housewife, hosting expert, and author Elizabeth Van Lierde (the “Millennial Martha Stewart”) is ready to share her knockout recipes from her new cookbook “Everyday Entertaining.” The “foodie bible” features 110 recipes for going all out when staying in – from colorful salads and comforting pasta to sharable party boards and refreshing cocktails.

Elizabeth worked at Williams Sonoma during her senior year of High School, but her relationship with the retailer came full circle when “Everyday Entertaining” made its debut in stores and her recipes made it to their social media platforms. Now available on Amazon, Target, and Barnes and Noble, this ‘kitchen cheat-sheet’ paired with baked goods or a bottle of wine, makes the perfect gift for any occasion.
Featuring tips throughout the book for those that like to “make-ahead prep” or need alternative cooking options, Elizabeth can share her ideas on:
·       Hosting the best Galentine’s Day
·       Creating themed spritz cocktails
·       Anatomy of a classic cheeseboard
·       Quick & easy table decor
·       15 delicious ways to top a cracker
Born and raised in Pasadena, but currently living in Orange County, Elizabeth's signature laid-back California style offers clever and simple advice to beginners and experts alike. As much as she would love to share that she grew up shadowing her grandmother in the kitchen and absorbing coveted recipes… she keeps it real and talks about remembering eating a lot of Shake ‘n Bake and Hamburger Helper as a kid. This led her to start her own food blog and experiment in the kitchen.
She discovered her passion for cooking and photography in college because she loved to cook and make treats for her roommates. That’s when her blog, The College Housewife (2015) was born. Elizabeth worked in LA as an event planner before deciding that she wanted to work for herself. Since, she has built an impressive clientele working as a food stylist and photographer with brands like Roth Cheese, Taylor farms, and Jennie-O, to name a few.
