Thomas Markle Just Admitted to Lying on Meghan Markle in His New Documentary
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry are attempting to enjoy their new life in Canada following their resignation as senior members of the British royal family. The Sussexes had been struggling under the brutal scrutiny of the British press and public. The duchess, in particular, was privy to all kinds of racist and heinous things that were said about her.
Though they tried to take action through stern language and even filing a lawsuit, nothing seemed to get the press to back off. In the end, the duke did what he felt was necessary to protect his family. “The decision that I have made for my wife and I to step back is not one I made lightly,” he said in a speech during a reception for his charity, Sentebale. “It was so many months of talks after so many years of challenges. And I know I haven’t always got it right, but as far as this goes, there really was no other option.”
People across the globe all have their opinions about Megxit, including the duchess’ estranged father, Thomas Markle.
Though her parents have been divorced since she was a small child, the duchess remained close to her father until she began dating Prince Harry. That’s when their relationship took a turn for the worse.
In 2018 instead of attending the Sussexes royal wedding, Markle staged some paid paparazzi photo ops, began talking to the press about his relationship with his daughter, and he even sold a personal letter the duchess wrote him to Mail on Sunday, which was then published in the newspaper. The duchess’ half-siblings, Samatha Markle and Thomas Markle, Jr. have also said horrible things about her to the press for payment.
Since her wedding, Markle has had no relationship with her father. Nor has he met her son, Archie Harrison.
This is how Thomas Markle feels about Megxit
As soon as the Sussexes announced they were stepping back as senior members of the royal family, Thomas Markle ran to the press to voice his opinion.
“It’s disappointing because she actually got every girl’s dream,” he said in his documentary, Thomas Markle: My Story. “Every young girl wanted to become a princess and she got that and now she’s tossing that away, for, it looks like she’s tossing that away for money. It’s kind of embarrassing to me. I think both of them are turning into lost souls at this point. I don’t know what they’re looking for.”

Thomas Markle just admitted he lied on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
In his disastrous documentary, Thomas Markle: My Story — Markle discusses the fallout between himself and his daughter and he also claims he lied during June 2018 Good Morning Britain interview with Piers Morgan. “Actually on the Piers show, I lied,” he revealed, saying the Sussexes never actually called him. “I made their image appear better.”
He also says he feels like the Sussexes and the royals owe him so he will be spilling tea for payment for however long he sees fit.
“I’m going to defend myself,” he boasted. “And I’m going to be paid for it. I’m not going to refuse to get paid for it. I’ll do future things and be paid for it, I think. I don’t care. At this point, they owe me. The royals owe me. Harry owes me. Meghan owes me. What I have been through, I should be rewarded for. My daughter told me that when I reach my senior years, she would take care of me. I’m in my senior years now. I’m 75 years old, so it’s time to look after Daddy.”
